TV Tonight
Tuesday, June 29th, 2004LiveJournal seems to enjoy my postings so much, it’s been double posting them and forcing me to go back and remove one later. Odd.
I’m ashamed to admit it, but I’m still addicted to my WB television. Like many of my friends, I threatened to boycott WB after they cancelled my favorite television show, Angel. There was great wailing, threats were made.
The WB are filthy people. *ptiu* we will speak of them no more!
But…
No cable. No dedicated evening plans.
So, Joss forgive me, I’ve been watching Summerland. In fact, I’m going to watch it tonight. Sure, it’s shit formula television, but look at the pretty boys… And when the new seasons start, I’m sure I’ll be watching Charmed, One Tree Hill, Smallville and The Gilmore Girls, too. I can’t even promise to avoid Seventh Heaven.
It’s an addiction. I can’t help myself. Must. Have. Hour-long. Drama.
But I swear by all that is holy not to buy any cars/trucks/SUVs/tanks I’ve seen advertised on the WB. Neither will I purchase Dominos Pizza (which seems to advertise during a lot of the abovementioned shows). Take that WB!
