Post Weekend Plot

Hooray! Exciting things are happening at *-*-*_grr_argh_”> and the Angel Season 6 project. I won’t give away any spoilers, but these are some kick-ass story ideas.

Today at work was pretty slow, but I spent most of the day reviewing the long-term editorial calendar with Steve and making notes about our regular writers (interests, quality, personal relationships, etc.) We’ve got the majority of the magazine mapped out through the New Year now and I’m sure we’ll get even more before I leave.

I had lots of difficulty sleeping this weekend. The insomnia is back (yet again). I ended up reading several issues of the Comic “Fray,” a handful of chapters in the first Harry Potter book, a handful of chapters in Laurell K. Hamilton’s first Anita Blake book, and trying to do the crossword puzzle in the television listings guide in the Sunday paper. Nothing held my attention long enough to make a difference.

My niece (and sister and bro-in-law) are coming to visit this week. Jayne was so cute when she called me, asking if it would be all right if I took Alexia for a few hours so they could have some adult one-on-one time. I told her that I should be thanking her for the chance to spend some one-on-one alone time with the prettiest toddler girl I know! I guess they’re going to be here tomorrow. I can’t decide if I want to take Alexia to a movie or just spend the time playing with her at one of those children-oriented restaurants like Pistol Pete’s Pizza or Chuck E. Cheese. I guess we’ll find out from her parents what she’d enjoy more.

Anyway, I’ve got to go print out all my AtS:S6 notes so that I can get the ideas flowing tonight when I’m away from the internet.
