Winter Weather

A nice storm front rolled into the Wasach Mountains over the weekend and the clouds are just breaking up long enough to catch glimpses of the snow on the mountains. The Wasach Front is at it’s most beautiful during this phase, when the white of the snow accenutates shapes and slopes you don’t always see. The snow hasn’t reached down into the valley yet (only above 8,000 ft.), but it turned very cold all of a sudden. I love it. Today I dressed in my stylish coat, scarf and wool cap combo that I only rarely had occasion to wear while living in Vegas. See, despite the fricken cold weather, I’m keeping a positive outlook and anticipating a fun winter season.

On the home front, the little sibs have all become sick. I think it’s the flu. At least their truly obnoxious behavior over the weekend is explained – they were coming down with something. When I get home, I’m sterilizing the place to avoid getting sick in this damp and chilly climate. That would be miserable.
