Blind Prophecy

I think I’m going to paint tonight. I have a cool idea in my head that’s just begging to be put on canvas. I really haven’t done much painting lately (white carpets are scary), but the image just won’t go away. Plus, I need a little “me” time.

My sister Jeanne’s paper on diabetes turned out well. I wrote half of it helped her to write it so she wouldn’t fail the course. She’s been having back problems lately and has missed quite a bit of school as a result. It turns out, her spine is so curved at the base that it looks like a C-chape. All the x-rays they’ve donce over the years have been from the wrong angle to see it clearly – they always had her lying down. They had to have her stand up and photograph it from the side to really see the problem. She’s probably looking at surgery this summer. Poor thing.

Did anyone watch Revalations last week? Is it worth putting out any effort to watch? (Because with Smallville and Lost, it would take effort) I want my West Wing back.

Two of my friends from Vegas are getting married (yes, we’re calling it that – legal or not). They make a good couple and I want to be gushingly happy from them, but my best friend is an ex of one of the grooms, so I get to hear the bitter side of things, too.

I think I’m in the mood for lasagna tonight. Maybe I’ll cook dinner for the family.

Hmm. Cooking or painting. Probably only have time for one or the other.
