Yup, it’s officially busy at Bob’s Event. My staff all started this week, so trying to get them trained, keep them occupied, and keep up with my own work is a nightmare.

Met with the city’s parks department yesterday. Everything’s going to be fine regarding Pride next year. Maybe a bit tricky, but we should be able to work things out with the Salt Lake City Marathon to avoid too much drama. When it comes right down to it, though, the parks department has more commitment to Pride than to the Marathon because they asked us to change our dates so we’re techinically “grandfathered” in.

SLC friends, I’ll post details about movie night either later tonight or tomorrow. I think I can arrange to borrow the van so I can help with transportation issues. According to Fandango, there are still plenty of tickets available on Saturday night. Personally I like the late-night after all the screaming brats have gone to bed showings. If people can make firm commitments, I can Fandango a number of tickets for the 10:30 showing… and now I’m not sure what new information I’ll be adding in a later post, but watch for it all the same
