More Holiday pics

Christmas in a nutshell:

• Slept in for a change, instead of opening presents at the crack of dawn.
• Jeanne came home from the hospital Xmas morning.
• Asshole-in-law started a fight over (of all things) the fact that there are members of the family who drink Pepsi products and he’s a delivery driver for Coke.
• I LOVE MY iPOD!!
• I LOVE SERENITY
• I also love my new electric blanket, quesadilla maker, books, sweaters and body pillow.

The panel on Brokeback Mountain that I mentioned a few days ago isn’t going to happen. I might catch the movie this weekend with L (who is “completely done” with his ex… again).

Burning Man Tickets go on sale January 18. Yay!

Had a great meeting at church last night. Interesting conversation on the difference between faith and faithfulness. Gave me a lot to think about.

Dad’s back in the hospital as of a few hours ago. Fluid in his lungs. Not as life-threatening this time, but he’ll probably be laid up though the weekend.

I need to make some NYE plans that involve alcohol, slutty boys and NO board games (unless they are games like “strip monopoly”). I refuse to ring in another year drinking non-alcoholic sparkling cider with my Mormon relatives and a deck of cards.

I’d love to write a lot more on any of the above subjects, but I just finished my first draft Pride budget and want to go home and fix myself another nummy quesadilla.
