Happy Birthday *-*-*ladystarlightsj”>!

Here’s a birthday gift that’s been making the rounds on the internet today. You might want to glance over your shoulder and check to see who’s standing behind you first ;)

Terrible insomnia last night. Didn’t get to sleep until 5 a.m., which shot my 7 a.m. plans for the gym to hell. This is not good. I’ve got to get some real sleep before the trip to Chicago which means I’ll be dosing myself on sleep meds nice and early both tonight and tomorrow night. Especially early tomorrow night, since I’ll have to be up at 3 a.m. on Thursday.

I think I’m starting to panic, ever so slightly, about all the work that has to be done for Utah Pride with only 9 weeks left to go.

And speaking of things that are coming up soon, Joanna and the asshole-in-law are due to have their baby on April 24. I’ve successfully avoided contact with Anna’s babydaddy for most of the last several months, but from what I’m told, he seems to be getting nastier of late. I’m guessing it’s stress, and I guess I can understand that.

Oh, both Jessi and Joanna are expecting girls. I don’t think I’ve mentioned that. Jessi’s baby (“Cali” – I don’t think Joanna and Brandon have settled on a name for theirs yet) is due in June. That will bring me up to 3 nieces and 1 nephew.

Anyway, there are baby showers every weekend between now and the end of April for Joanna. I haven’t decided what an appropriate gift would be. When Alexia and Craig were born, I gave each of them a rainbow stuffed animal (well, if their uncle isn’t going to introduce them to the world of tacky gay shit, who will?). Both Alexia and Craig loved their rainbow toys, probably because they were so colorful. Somehow, I don’t think asshole-in-law would let his daughter play with a rainbow cat, she just might pick up some queer cooties.

I think I might call it an early day at the office today. I’ll hit the gym early (before the 5 o’clock crowd shows up), then start packing for the trip.
