Blind Prophecy

This just made my whole day! (trailer for Spiderman 3, so if you’re extermely spoiler-phobic–even of trailers–don’t click)

Today is a slow day. My job interview yesterday went well, they pretty much told me I was their man, but nothing is set in stone yet. After the interview, I hit the gym. The result is that I pretty much wiped myself out and slept in until almost noon today. I sorta want to hit the gym again (just to do something), but mostly I’ve been reading A Song for Arbonne by Guy Gavriel Kay. I finally finished Jonathon Strange and Mr. Norrell. I liked it, but it’s not going onto my favorites list.

Anyway, if I take this job, it probably won’t start until mid-to-late July and that means more free time than I’ve had to cope with in a long time. I honestly don’t know how I’ll keep myself sane through such a stretch of time.

I had the most vivid dream last night that I wasn’t sure if it was real or not. In the dream, I saw a commercial for a live-action X-Men series on cable TV starring Anna Paquin as Rogue. I actually had to look it up on the internet this morning to be sure it wasn’t real (which is how I stumbled across the Spiderman 3 trailer). I’m disappointed that it was just a dream.
