Something Happening
Friday, June 30th, 2006I was just lying in bed after being up for about three hours preparing to post about how wistful I was feeling and hoping something exciting might happen. I was wondering how I'd occupy myself this weekend with Lance out of town and Jessica tied up with her freelance projects. Then I just got two calls from companies wanting to interview me in the space of 5 minutes. One of those interviews is today. Now I need to jump in the shower quickly, put on some nice clothes and make my way downtown. The interview today is with a company that I am rather excited about, actually, and I hope it goes well. Unfortunately, it's primarily a development (read: grant writing) position, with communications/PR/event planning secondary, and that does not play to my strengths.
Got some positive feedback this morning from the homeless services organization.
Wish me luck, I’d love to be in the position of having to choose between opportunities.
