Love Fest ’06
Sunday, September 24th, 2006So while I was in Chicago, my new friends Ronald and Bree and I developed a very simple set up criteria for men. We call it the JARS rule. All that we expect of men anymore is (J) a Job, (A) an automobile (although this one isn’t as strict if you live in places like San Francisco or NYC), (R) a roof over their head, and (S) single.
See, I’m not too picky. Am I asking too much to expect those things?
And why does it seem like the last criteria is the hardest? Can I just get a single guy to pay that kind of attention to me every now and again?
So last night Jennifer and Daniel, and their out-of-town guests Eric and Christopher, talked me into going to DNA Lounge for their “Space Cowboy” party. People dressed as aliens or cowfolk got discounted admission. It was a great party. I got hammered drunk.
Today we went to the Love Parade and Festival. Lots of fun. Lots of hot guys. See the pretty pictures…
Tonight: more Love Fest parties (maybe, if I can get out of bed)
Tomorrow: Folsom Street Fair
