Presents Un-wrap-up
Tuesday, December 26th, 2006Well, Santa came and went and it was, overall, a jolly holiday. I got many fine sweaters I can wear to work, a few gift cards, and two new video games to keep myself entertained. And chocolate, there were lots of gifts this year involving chocolate. I think my family is getting back at me for being more in-shape than I’ve been in a long, long time. My pant size is now smaller than both my adolescent brothers.
We went to see Eragon, which is a movie you could enjoy if a) you haven’t read the book, b) haven’t read any other books featuring dragons, magic and huge save-the-world battles, and c) aren’t expecting much. I can’t say it was an all-out suckfest, but it won’t be making my top ten movies of the year list (speaking of which… I need to get moving on that).
I wish I could stay and visit a few more days, but I’m also anxious to get back home tomorrow. There will be picspam a-plenty, but I need to be home with my much faster internet connection… the wireless at my parent’s house keeps breaking on me while I try to upload to flickr. It’s very annoying. Also, I haven’t been able to touch my work projects all weekend, and it’ll be a rush to get everything done before Friday that needs doing.
Now, to figure out my New Year’s Eve plans and find out if there’s anything Kwanzaa-related that I find intriguing in the Bay Area.
