Work feels like work

I’m starting to get really overwhelmed at work. I’m falling farther and farther behind in the schedule we set out at the beginning of the year. I’m roughly 2 weeks behind schedule. The nagging thought, of course, is when will I ever have time to take a vacation?

Speaking of which, I’ve got to decide when I’ll be doing that. There are three Utah options: a friend’s wedding on May 26, Utah Pride June 1-3, or late June when my sister will be visiting. I still want to do an NYC trip this spring, too.

The good news, though, is that our ED mentioned today that we might prioritize the second person in my department sooner rather than later. That would help.
