Weekend Report

I spent my weekend feeling a sore throat coming on, so other than Friday night, I didn’t get out this weekend. Instead, I got back to playing Final Fantasy XII. In an attempt to level up my characters and pick up lots of loot to upgrade their armor and weapons, I spent about three hours in this area of the game where you can build up huge bonus chains by attacking zombie monsters over and over again. I pwned those skeletal bitches. After killing something like 1,000 zombies, I started to wonder… exactly what kind of sick native burial ground did people build this dungeon on top of, and what did these poor zombies ever do to me? Seriously, there comes a point when you realize that you’ve become a genocidal maniac whose slaughter of the undead goes beyond what people would consider “normal” – if such a term can be used when talking about evil animated corpse killing.
Skipped the Oscars entirely. I’m still upset about last year. Not really, but it makes a good excuse to have spent the evening killing video game zombies instead.
I’ve got another professional development class tomorrow, which means my whole day is shot. I’ll still have to get some actual work done in the evening or on lunch break, though.
So, yeah, the only interesting thing I did this weekend was visit the Lush Lounge on Friday night with Jennifer and Daniel. Cute place, I think I’ll visit again some time.
