Gasoline Explosion on the Bay Bridge
Sunday, April 29th, 2007
SAN FRANCISCO — A gasoline tanker truck crashed and exploded in a ball of flames early today, causing a 250-foot stretch of a major Bay Area freeway interchange to melt and collapse on a roadway below, authorities said.
Lovely. They’saying traffic could he impacted for months. I’m glad I don’t half to commute from the East Bay, but I’ll be hearing about it for a while from coworkers, friends and others. Even my East Bay buddies who usually take the BART will be frustrated by how much more busy it is starting Monday.
