Happy Solstice!

So I just realized that last Monday marked the one year anniversary of my move to San Francisco. It’s been a wild year and I truly feel like I’ve never been happier in my life.

There was an interesting new project at work today. A person who has been very heavily involved with our organization for the past 2 years will be spending the summer in an Islamic country on behalf of her company. It’s one of those countries that punished homosexuality with death. So I spent most of the morning and early afternoon hunting down any references to her on our website and removing them. She’s going to contact search engines and ask them to void their cache pages.

Periodicaly I google my own name to see how often I pop up on the internets. When I checked it this afternoon, let me just say that I won’t be travelling to those countries any time soon. There are over 500 entries that pop up on a search of my name and 80% of those link me to obnoxious flag-waving homosexual activism. I’m one outspoken motha-effen queer.
