Blind Prophecy

I’ve decided to skip the long reactionary post about HP:&tDH for now. Sure, I wanna talk about Joseph Campbell archtypes or the use of fairy tale conventions, but LJ is seeing no shortage of thoughtful and mature analysis of the Harry Potter finale and I don’t especially feel the need to contribute more.

I slept most of the day away. After staying up almost to dawn to finish reading and reacting online, I didn’t get out of bed until well into the late afternoon. All I’ve really done today is wash some laundry and watch whatever popped up on TV (e.g., Van Wilder). I do have some netflix movies to watch if I can’t get to sleep early enough.

I’ve also burned myself out on work for the weekend. I don’t so much have any more editing to do at this point, I have to make a list of what is still missing, what is “tentative” and what I have questions about. It can wait until tomorrow morning when I’m back on the clock.
