Blind Prophecy

I hear from my friends and family that it’s snowing like car-razy in Salt Lake. Yesterday was Mom’s birthday and she spent too much of it shovelling sidewalks just so she could run errands. Practically everyone else living at home right now is enough of an invalid that no one could really help her. Jasmine had her gall bladder removed recently, Jordan has never been able to do that kind of manual labor, Dad isn’t allowed… I’m not sure what Jeanne or Jared’s excuses were, but they’d better be good ones!

I’m glad there will be plenty of snow when I arrive in 15 days. I sorta miss it. On the other hand, it was so cold here I actually had to put on a sweatshirt at noon. Cursed coastal California weather!

Maybe this video will help my old home state companions feel a little warmer…
