I have to quit my job
Tuesday, April 1st, 2008After a great deal of thought, I’ve decided I have no choice but to quit my job. It’s taking up too much of the time I should be using to study, constantly makes me unhappy, and shows no sign of ever improving. I don’t know what I’ll do for money, but I’ll probably move back to Utah in June, after I take my LSAT test. In fact, I could just cancel my flight and drive my stuff to Utah since I have to take the test there anyway.
I had hoped to stay in San Francisco more than 2 years, since Michael Aaron once predicted that I wouldn’t last more than two years, but short of finding a dream job (read: strictly 9-5 with plenty of down-time) I can’t forsee a way to stick around. Even lasting until June is going to require a careful decision about exactly when I put in my last day.
I guess I’ll have to talk with my supervisor about it at work. Only one thing bothers me…
