Blog Leads to Vicarious Hallucinations of 40-Foot-Tall Sculpture

Having once again made the decision to move during the summer, and with law school hopefully starting next year, I’ve accepted that it may be years before I have another opportunity to make my first trip to Burning Man. As long-time readers know, I’ve wanted to go for years, even bought a ticket in 2006, but life keeps on making it impossible.
Still, I can pick up some proxy playa dust by following The Burning Blog, which has been tracking the progress this last week in setting up the camp. Things will really start picking up this week until the big night on August 31. To all my friends on their way to Black Rock City, participate a little for me.
Anyway, I look forward to wistfully watching photos in Flickr slide shows in September.
