Monday, January 5th, 2009Apparently the University of Utah athletic department has done something to make half my facebook friends very happy. Meanwhile, in Cincinnati, everyone is talking about carrot-colored soup dishes. Let’s summon up newborn Jere to see if he can muster some interest in the sport…
Nope, even as a newbie, I don’t seem much interested. Please note, I am fairly certain that is also the last time I wore a football jersey. Sorry, Mom.

There’s a picture of me at the age of 4 or 5 somewhere, being posed for a professional picture in a baseball outfit, with a bat. Last time for me, too, heh. Unfortunately, my poor mom also spent a bit of cash on accruing a baseball card collection for me when she knew she was having a boy. That also went to waste, and burned when we had a housefire, so we can’t even try to sell them.
