Blind Prophecy

Well, most of the television critics hate it, it’s on a strange network, advertising has been primarily word-of-mouth, and there aren’t any big name stars involved… but I wonder how anyone can resist the allure of Legend of the Seeker. It’s cheesy fantasy fluff with a plot that lack originality, but it’s fun.

Take last week’s episode, “Denna,” where the Seeker is capture by a witch who can control magic and turn it against the user. Denna’s task is to torture and manipulate the Seeker into serving Darken Rahl. This will also bring the slow-burning romance between Richard and Kahlan to the surface and force them to confront their feelings.

Or, how I would describe it… some hot dildo-wielding dominatrix bitch in skin-tight leather strips Craig Horner of his shirt for 80% of the episode and hangs him from a hook in the ceiling while making torture look like foreplay.

It has something for everyone! BDSM, shirtless Craig Horner, a dominatrix-on-dominatrix almost-kiss at the end, shirtless Craig Horner, a couple fight scenes, shirtless Craig Horner, and incremental advancement of the plot. Did I mention Craig Horner without his shirt?
