Frankie sees you!
Thursday, April 2nd, 2009Puppies are a lot of work. Frankie (a.k.a. “Doctor Frankie Stein” as I call her) never seems to run out of energy.
Because our respective schedules leave the house empty for a few hours on days I work, she gets put in the pantry, the only puppy-proof spot in the house, even on days when I’m home – we’re establishing a routine. Even if she’s sleeping, she always knows when I come downstairs and no matter how quiet I am, this is what I see every time I walk into the kitchen.
It’s been a while since I gushed about The Battery’s Down. Season 2 started today, so if you’re a big theatre geek like me, head on over to YouTube and watch it often.

Aww. So Frankie is to Blind Prophecy as Richard Parker is to Hotel Tuesday?

Not quite. Frankie is “Jacob’s dog” rather than mine, and I don’t want Diggs (“Jennifer’s dog”) to get jealous. In fact, Diggs has started hanging out with me all day because if he goes downstairs the little one annoys him, too. Puppies are hard, but they’re even harder when you’re a 17-year-old dog used to being in charge.
