Things I don’t care about…

This has been an annoying week on the blogs and news. Here is a brief list of things about which I don’t care:

  • World shocked that woman can sing despite being old and unattractive
  • Beauty pageant reveals that pretty girls in swimsuits can be bigots
  • Obnoxious and crude gossip blogger is easily offended and vindictive
  • Gay(ish?) boy with musical theatre background does well in vapid karaoke show
  • Grey Gardens
  • Attractive actors cast in painfully stupid teen anti-feminist screed disguised as vampire fantasy

That’s not to say I don’t enjoy some shallow entertainment news. The Mr. Broadway 2009 Beauty Pageant was this week. It looks like NBC is giving up on Kings. And The [Title of Show] Show reminds us that Tony season is fast approaching (the announcement of nominees comes out May 5):
