New View

Saturday, August 29th, 2009

So my new room is on the south side of the building, which is really confusing because it’s an exact mirror flip and I’ve had weird vertigo for the last few hours. Anyway, I have a new view of the city. Instead of looking out over the Lincoln Center and the Upper West Side, I now overlook the theatre district, a bit of Hell’s Kitchen, and the Hudson river. No naked across-the-street neighbors spotted yet.

My roommates are cool. They’re both in the evening law program, so we probably won’t see too much of each other.

And since Enrico seems especially concerned about finding out who I would choose, I’m invoking my cultural Mormon heritage and deciding that all four guys get to be sister-wives in a polygamous marriage to me. But Enrico gets to be number 1 wife because he’s already so good at nagging me.

  1. Awwww. Enrico’s number one. Glad your roomies seem okay and you still have an amazing view. Just don’t lean on the glass kay? That’s a loooooong way down.

  2. oooo, NYC at night! All lit up! With some fog thrown in for good measure! i LOVE it! :)

Does being sister wives preclude us from fooling around with each other while you’re doing your husbandly duties with wife #1? :)

    HUGS…

  5. Neat views – I think they would distract me from studying.

The nagging comment cracked me up.
