Central Park in Autumn
Saturday, November 14th, 2009My long memo is due this Monday and the psychic stress level at school among 1Ls is going up and up to the point. We grimace at each other in greeting these days. I also realized that the last time I left the campus interior for anything longer than a run to the nearest drug store was last weekend’s trip to New Jersey. So, after my class let out yesterday afternoon, I grabbed my camera and a pumpkin latte for some time wandering around Central Park enjoying the autumnal leaves and crisp fall air.

Central Park in fall (isn’t that a line from Danke Shoen?)…ust beautiful. And I remember that bridge!!!
But the next to the last photo, with you looking up to the camera, doens’t even look like you. When I saw it, my first thought was, “Why is Jere taking a photo of a Hispanic midget?” And then I recognized the cap. Sorry.
Hope the break refreshed you and you got the memo done!
HUGS…

Hispanic midget? I’m starting to regret posting that photo.
In the picture where you are looking up at the camera, you look like you’re the drummer in a heavy metal band.

you’re welcome?!
Ice skating?! I haven’t gone in years. And I’ve only been ice skating twice. I should go again someday when it’s free.

Maybe sometime when you’re not so busy with 15-page papers and school stuff someone who is also not busy with 10-page memos and school stuff will invite you to go ice skating. Anything is possible.
Hope the fresh air revived you for a weekend of hard work. It really is beautiful. I’d love to go skating in Central Park.

There’s an excuse for a winter Puntugang gathering: Puntabulous on Ice! Think of all the argyle sweaters and mittens…

As Mikey said on Queer As Folk, “If God had wanted me to be on ice, he would have made me a martini.”
I dont ice skate, but I’ll watch others who do, and hold their pumpkin lattes for them.
HUGS….
Great photos of beautiful surroundings. I really like the first picture of you.

The only thing I don’t like about that photo is that the top of the coffee cup was completely washed out by my not-white-balanced camera.
What a perfect autumn day. Love your photos. What were you listening to as you sipped your pumpkin latte?

She has a holiday album coming out. “A Sorta Fairytale” is my all time favorite.
