Defying Gravity
Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009I’m in the air most of today flying home to Utah. This is my first time flying JetBlue, so I don’t know if they’ve got the fancy mid-air wifi and if I could afford it. I’m sure I’ll be tweeting at any rate.
Yesterday’s final in contracts almost seemed easy after the epic struggle of man versus property law last week. Of course, I may have failed miserably (read as: got a B) and I won’t really have a clue until grades come out. Which, if I understand correctly, should be sometime around March 2048. Regardless, the semester is over.
The best part of today’s test (that sounds like an contradiction): our professor threw in a random gay couple. At least, in a poll of section 3 and 4 students getting drunk at Bar Nine this evening, 10 out of 10 respondents agreed that “Chris” of “Frank and Chris and their dog Jim” was a dude. Sadly, their relationship did not end well, but props to my professor for the gratuitous same-sex relationship visibility in the exam.

I LIKE THIS GRAPH.
And congrats on being done. Now you can spend all your free time getting your reading done for next semester!

I’m not taking my books home with me, so that would be a problem. I may even read something that has nothing to do with the law, but I’ll be spending most of the time trying to get a summer internship lined up.
Glad it wasn’t as gruelling as you expected. Yay Chris and Frank, too bad their relationship bombed.
Hope your flight is smooth and you at least get a free package of peanuts. Have a very Merry Christmas with your family and take lots of time to relax and turn off the brain a bit.
I wonder who got custody of Jim?
Enjoy your vacation : ).
YAY! Vacation! Congratulations Jere, have a wonderful and relaxing break with your family and a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Wow, not to be a downer, but that is one long Law School haul ahead of you. Cool that the prof added some homo-diversity (is that an oxymoron?) to the exam.
Have a great holiday break!
