I Walk…
Monday, May 17th, 2010The AIDS Walk went well. It really wiped me out, though.
Still, a good time was had in the sun, money was raised for a good cause, and I spent a morning pretending I didn’t have to study for Torts. The video is 5 minutes of footage I shot on my fancy new camcorder, but to get the best HD use out of the camera, I discovered I’ll need to buy some better video editing software soon.

Wow, what a huge crowd. No idea who all the important talkers were but a great video. Looks like fun was had by all for a good cause.
It looks like there was a good crowed.
I can’t remember if you are a Mac or PC guy. On my PC I use Sony Vegas. I chose it because I wanted good AVCHD 720P support, Adobe Elements seem to only have AVCHD 1080P/I at the time, and I didn’t want to spend $600+ on video software. Vegas is nice, but with high bit-rate AVCHD it can get a little bogged down at times on my 2.8GHZ 4 core unit. I need to get a faster system one of these days.
Thanks for the rec. I’m on PC. I’m not sure how much I’m willing to spend just yet, but certainly not in the $600+ range.
The speakers were actors from Queer as Folk, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Will & Grace and Broadway’s Sondheim on Sondheim. Also, male model Ngo Okafor and Governor Paterson.
