Painting the Town
Saturday, July 17th, 2010Had another fun night out last night. Despite our very best efforts to go somewhere else, we ended up at The Ritz again. What was cool, though, was that we got to see a live performance by Michael Chase DiMartino, who you probably know from his ASL interpretations of Britney and Gaga songs on YouTube (which are mostly being copyright blocked by the record labels these days). He’s moved on to his own material anyway, performing as Chase.
Unfortunately, the pictures I took didn’t turn out great – and you should never try to edit photos on your phone while intoxicated – but I like how this one of me came out:

Anyway, keeping busy otherwise. I start training for my TA/mentoring end-of-summer job this week. I accepted a position on the staff of the Fordham Urban Law Journal. I have my flight and hotel booked for Lavender Law, so I have 6 weeks to get down to my birth weight for Miami Beach (I also need a new swimsuit, my current one is about 6 years out of style). It’s also, apparently, time to start updating my resume and beginning the job hunt for next summer.

The secreto to getting down to one’s birfweight? Stop eating! It workz for me!
I think the photos turned out quite nicely. You are very photogenic.
Not bad photos Jere. Everyone seems to be having fun. Don’t forget, you need a swimsuit for Long Island in 2 weeks. *hint* *hint*
Looks like a fun night.
Updating your resume and job hunting already? But you just did that!

Yeah, I just did that. Turns out, law school is three years of trying to find a job.
Why do you have demon eyes??
Next time go to Urge on 2nd Ave and 2nd St!
