Hey World
Sunday, November 21st, 2010Before people think I’ve completely given up on blogging, a brief update.
As you can guess from the lack of blogs lately, this semester has been kicking my ass. The big thing was the Trial Advocacy competition. We met four nights a week for about 2 months and made the semi-finals of our regional competition. Not bad for our first competition.
When things finally let up last week after the competition ended, I went to see Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, which was a very fun show. I also went to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part I this weekend. And now it’s time to get back to work on the end-of-semester papers and study for finals.
I’ve picked classes next semester to make my day-to-day schedule a bit easier, only one late night class. Since I hope to do Trial Ad again next semester, plus I’ll be co-directing The Vagina Monologues and doing another year of Follies and taking on a few other extracurricular tasks, I intentionally kept my evenings more free and decided (on the advice of a professor from my most intense class next semester) to not repeat my internship.
So, anyway, that’s the brief catch-up. Obviously, there are lots of things I haven’t written about, but it would be boring to hear me ramble on about law school and there has been sadly little else lately.

I had a final paper due last Friday and now that that’s done, I feel so relieved! This semester kept me very busy.
I haven’t seen HP yet!! I hope I can see it this week.
I’m seeing The Vagina Monologues (for a 4th year) because my friend is in it once again. I have most of the monologues memorized by now!
Wow, busy busy. Congrats on making it to the semi’s. Hope you get a bit of a break over the holidays. We are going to HP Wednesday. Never seen VM and have no real desire to, I have one of my own thanks, I don’t need to hear others talk about their’s.
Well, at least we know you’re still alive and bloggy-kicking…or something like that.
HUGS…
Excellent job on the semi finals! Sounds like you have had a heavy work load, but are handling it quite well.
Sounds incredibly busy! Congratulations on the semi-finals. Good luck on your papers/finals!
