My friends are going through rough times
Sunday, August 26th, 2007The last 24+ hours have been a bit difficult. Jennifer moved out of her apartmment and is asking Daniel for a divorce. I’ve known this was coming for a while, but today was the day.

Again, I’m taking advantage of the LJ “Writer’s Block” prompt… If you could travel back in time to spend a day with someone, who would it be and why? Wow, so many, many choices. But knowing me, I’d be realistic about it. It wouldn’t be much fun chatting with Camus or Sartre if I didn’t [...]
The LJ “Writer’s Block” prompt is actually a pretty cool little feature, and several times I’ve logged in and thought, I have no idea what to write. Like today. So… If you could be another person for a day, who would it be and why? I rarely indulge in this kind of fantasy thinking. In [...]
You Are Scooter Brainy and knowledgable, you are the perfect sidekick. You’re always willing to lend a helping hand. Not the fun look-at-naked-people-in-public-at-the-whatever-festival kind of weekend I usually blog about, but the why-am-I-in-the-office-on-a-beautiful-Sunday kind of weekend. Plus, my laptop got infected with some nasty spyware that seems impossible to completely remove.
Although I don’t feel like I have a lot to say for International Blog Against Racism Week, I do find it a bit interesting that I’ve been working with some statistics from the last 4 years of our annual major public survey that relate to the purpose of IBARW. While most of our research primarily [...]
So I recently signed up for a facebook account. Today, my baby sister (the youngest girl in the family) added me as a friend. I logged on a few minutes to discover that she has recently changed her default picture, changed her relationship status from “single” to “in a relationship” and changed her status update [...]
